Did you know, that your identity is closely linked to your clothing choices and the way you present yourself to the world? When you haven’t yet discovered your personal style, it can drain your confidence and lead to self-doubt.

If that is the case, it’s time to redefine your style so you can truly shine. I’ll show you in just SEVEN steps how to define your style so your inside truly matches your outside. By following these steps, you'll not only transform your style but also embrace a more authentic version of yourself.

♦Where do we start?

#1 Step: Start with your unique Color Palette Selection:

Everyone has a unique skin tone, and identifying the colors that best enhance it can highlight your inherent beauty. In my color and style coaching practice, I have witnessed many women come alive with newfound radiance and confidence as they uncover their ideal colors.

Therefore, choose colors that complement your skin tone and make you feel confident. A cohesive color palette can make mixing and matching your outfits much easier.

#2 Step: Self-Reflection!

Begin by understanding what you love and what makes you feel comfortable. Consider your daily activities, lifestyle, and the image you want to project. Begin by identifying what you love and what makes you feel comfortable. Consider your daily activities, lifestyle, and the image you want to project.

Find at least seven adjectives you would like to convey with your outfit combination. Find a name for your style-idea. For example, do you like Princess Kate´s Style? Could it be a name for the style you choose for yourself? Which colors match best with this style?

What inspires you? Which Style? Which Colors?

Redefining your style will attract more attention and deliver the message and recognition you deserve. Whether you're aiming for a classic, modern, or eclectic and unique look, this activity will help you express your unique personality through your wardrobe. I personally opt for a a classy and a little Vintage style. I find treasures in “Grandmas Treasure Chest”.

#3 Step: Collection of inspiring ideas:

Create a mood board with images, fabrics, and colors that resonate with you. Whether it's through magazines, online platforms, or even nature, find elements that speak to your soul and pin them to your mood board.

#4 Step: Wardrobe Audit:

Detox your wardrobe. Go through your existing wardrobe and identify pieces that align with your newfound vision. Donate or repurpose items that no longer serve you.

#5 Step: Find your Signature Pieces and start building your Signature Look:

Make a shopping list and invest in a few timeless pieces that define your style. These could be a tailored blazer, statement jewelry, or a classic handbag that elevates any outfit.

#6 Step: Experimentation:

Don't be afraid to try new combinations and step outside your comfort zone. Mixing patterns, textures, and layers can lead to exciting new looks.

#7 Step: Confidence Building:

Wear your new found style with pride. Confidence is the most attractive accessory, and when you feel good in what you wear, it shows.

Let´s take the Confidence-Test:

Which of the following emotions resonate with you the most?

  • I feel my presence lacks impact.

  • I find it difficult to stand out.

  • I experience confusion and don't know where or how to begin.

  • I am going through an identity crisis and feel unsure about who I am or how I want to be perceived.

  • I often feel emotions such as shame and embarrassment.

  • I have a sense of being older than my actual age.

  • I tend to shy away from the spotlight and turn down opportunities.

  • I feel guilty about spending money on clothes that I rarely wear.

  • I feel like my wardrobe is overflowing, yet I still struggle to find something to wear!

  • None of the above!

If you marked more than two aspects, it is a sign of low self-esteem and lack of confidence.
