Work for your Miracle

What do you prefer:

Diet or a healthy lifestyle

The choice is yours!

There is great truth in the following statement by Thomas Aquinas:

You have to pray for miracles, but work for change.”

You are responsible for what you

• feed your heart (spirit, soul and mind)

• feed your body.

Where the mind goes, the brain follows. What you think affects what you eat. What you eat affects what you think!

What is the quality of the fuel you choose to provide your Temple with?

What we take in, be it in the form of thoughts and impressions, and food in physical form, we can compare to the fuel for a car. Depending on the quality of the “fuel”, the car will run better or it will eventually have problems.

Our body is worth so much more than a car. A car can be repaired or replaced, but the body cannot.

That is why we should pay attention to the quality of the "fuel-intake" in every respect.

“You can't sit back and wait to be happy and healthy and have a great thought life;

you have to make the decision that you want to reach that state.

You must choose to get rid of the poison in the garden of your heart and your body and align yourself with God.

You can either let every little setback in life throw you off

-or you can let yourself be inspired by the possibilities that such setbacks bring.”

(Dr. Caroline Leaf in Switch on your Brain)

Health is a human right stolen from us by the food industry. It is also a result of lack of information about what is good for our bodies and what is not.

❌Did you know for example that soda creates structural damage in your brain?

❌The combination of processed foods and lack of fitness, stress and overweight are the perfect cocktail for many diseases, like cancer, diabetes. It also promotes heart diseases, brain damage and early aging. We hear new concepts like Diabetes Type ll and now even Diabetes Type lll, referring to Alzheimer’s disease.

I am convinced that we have to take care and nourish our bodies and our minds well, because it is the temple of the Holy Spirit.

This care includes both healthy eating and physical exercise. When we are sick, we feel bad, we are tired, lack energy, we cannot live up to our full potential.

Therefore, I believe that we honor God when we responsibly treat and fuel our body and mind with real food and healthy thoughts.
